Nature and Purpose of CODA

China Overseas Development Association (CODA) is a national non-profit social organization with corporate capacity duly approved by and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. CODA was established on 10 December 2004. CODA ’ s Honorary Chairman is Zeng Peiyan, former Vice-Premier of the State Council, and its President is Zhang Guobao, former Vice-Chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and former Director of the National Energy Administration.

Under NDRC ’ s guidance, CODA provides services to Chinese enterprises for their overseas investments and business development. CODA has been actively implementing the “Going Global” strategy, serving as a bridge between the government and enterprises.

About the COIFAIR

The China Overseas Investment Fair (COIFair), an event approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and co-founded by the China Overseas Development Association and the China Development Bank in 2009, has by now been successfully held for five sessions. For each session, the COIFair platform has helped more than 100 countries from all over the world and thousands of Chinese enterprises to participate in face to face communications. Its major activities include expos, investment seminars, panel discussions, project presentations and one to one meetings participated by leaders from enterprises, financial institutions, service providers, government departments, international organizations, NGOs, research institutions and other entities from different countries. It brings plenty opportunities for participating parties from foreign countries to build, renew and expand investment and business partnership with Chinese enterprises and investors, to share investment project information overseas and to make win-win progress by collaborating with Chinese partners on the global market today and tomorrow.

The theme of the 6th COIFAIR is “New Realties & New Challenges: Seeking Common Strategic Grounds on Investment and Cooperation amongst Countries and Regions”. With the New Silk Road Economic Belt, Offshoring advantage industries, and other key industries going abroad as highlights, we can explore new opportunities for investment and cooperation between international and regional. The 6th COIFAIR will offer an effective platform for communication and collaboration in two days.

The China Power International Cooperation Forum & Expo

China Power International Cooperation Forum & Expo covers the power of international cooperation, smart grid and distributed generation, power equipment and project contracting, energy saving and environmental protection, new energy and electric vehicles and coal gas and so on.

Scope of negotiations and exhibitions include: thermal (coal and natural gas power generation), hydropower, wind power, solar photovoltaic, biomass power generation, nuclear power, electric vehicles and energy storage, energy saving, transmission and distribution equipment, high and low voltage electrical appliances , power quality products and related technology and equipment.

In order to meet the State Council energy conservation and new energy development strategic plan, we will focus on power engineering contracting, solar photovoltaic power generation, distributed generation, electric vehicles and nuclear power sectors. Five forums will be hosted such as “International Cooperation Forum on the Use of Coal and Gas in China’s Power Sector”, “International Cooperation Forum on Smart Power Grid and Distributed Power Generation” and “International Cooperation Forum on New Energy Utilization and Electric Automobile”. For the sake of exploring the related issues about the development and use of clean energy and electric vehicles in China, the relevant business representatives will be invited to attend the meeting. And a comprehensive display of the latest technology about new energy utilization, electric vehicles and ancillary equipment will be provided.

On our platform we can not only integrate multi-participants of energy power in the field of supply, demand, transmission and distribution, equipment, research, investment and financing services to promote the formation of the Commonwealth and the efficient interaction of industry information and projects in energy power, but also we can achieve multimedia stereo high-intensity propaganda and full transmission of information about business opportunities through the network, television, radio, newspapers, magazines and other media. We believe that China Power International Cooperation Forum & Expo will be a promotion of new energy technology exchanges and cooperation, a promotion of the development and utilization of electric vehicles in China and a high-level platform for domestic and foreign enterprises to seek energy power international exchanges and cooperation.
